Just when I felt like I was hitting a wall and needing inspiration … my friend and fellow photographer Jared Rey asks me if I want to join him on a fun personal project he was working on with his new friend Vanessa of Butterfly Sparks Creative. Lucky for me, I had nothing going on and decided to join them later that day. I was immediately inspired by Vanessa’s ability to create a story and successfully engage the couple within it. The images Jared and I captured that day are stunning and couldn’t have done it without her creativity. I most definitely look forward to working with her in the future. Here’s a few of my favorite images from that incredible afternoon.

Meet Addison. She made her debut back in May with her two cousins Caden & Graham. This time she’s back at the Dallas Arboretum for the Great Pumpkin Festival to pose in her skunk costume. Fortunately … she didn’t get into character during our time together … if you know what I mean. ;- ) Choosing the images for this post proved to be quite difficult because she doesn’t know how to take a bad photo.

These guys were a mess! But they sure made good Mother’s Day photos for grandma!
