We decided to take advantage of the new AT&T Performing Arts Center in downtown Dallas for Catherine and Nick’s session while it’s still a new and fresh location. On the day of their session it had only been open to public for two weeks. It is a spectacular looking place with lots of cool and inspiring places to shoot. I’m sure they weren’t the absolute first … but they will always be able to say they were one of the first to have their engagement photos done at that location. But the delivery truck we found … they were definitely the first and only.
We’ve known these two for a long time and it’s great to finally see them about to tie the knot.

Meet Addison. She made her debut back in May with her two cousins Caden & Graham. This time she’s back at the Dallas Arboretum for the Great Pumpkin Festival to pose in her skunk costume. Fortunately … she didn’t get into character during our time together … if you know what I mean. ;- ) Choosing the images for this post proved to be quite difficult because she doesn’t know how to take a bad photo.

Jennifer and I went down to Ennis yesterday to hang out with her grandparents on their farm. I took the camera along because I hadn’t really had a chance to see what the new camera is capable of since it arrived last Monday. The dynamic range, color and ISO performance are amazing … and I’m officially pumped to shoot the portrait sessions that I have coming up. Luckily there’s lots of cool stuff laying around because no one was up for getting their photo taken … except for the stray cow that decided to stop by for a quick portrait session … and her grand-dad … who didn’t have a choice.
