I had been looking forward to this shoot for a while. Working with these two didn’t fall short of my expectations at all. Their session was initially scheduled for
Friday … but I’m glad we changed it to Saturday because the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. They’ll be getting married in June at the Dallas Arboretum. Unfortunately … I’m not the lucky one covering the wedding. You can say I’m a little bummed … these two are a going to make an awesome bride and groom. And the wedding itself will surely be spectacular!

::WARNING:: Long Post Ahead! Just sayin’ …
We’re ringin’ in 2010 with a bang! Here’s the first of hopefully many more weddings this year. It also marked my wife Jennifer’s retirement as a professional bridesmaid … she’s a little sad. The outside temperature in Dallas was lower than it had been in over a decade … but overall it turned out to be a beautiful day for an awesome wedding. Thank you Catherine and Nick for choosing me as your photographer … it was a blast. And a special thanks to my brother David for standing in as “flash girl.”

Don’t mess with this guy … he is highly trained in the field of WBSI. (Wedding Band Security & Intelligence)

I don’t know … I’m starting to think I didn’t take enough ring shots. :-p

I’ve never seen kids so focused on a toast. Couldn’t have planned this out even if I paid them in candy bars.

I don’t know what is going on in this shot … but it cracks me up every time I look at it.

This guy was awesome … so intense!
